Welcome! The Mission Museum is located in Mission City,
BC, Canada, and we are dedicated to upholding the goals of
the Mission District Historical Society: "Recording our History,
Educating the Community, Preserving our Heritage."
Visitor Hours:
Thursdays and Fridays: 10am-4pm
Saturdays: 1pm-4pm
Admission is by donation
Suggested donation: $2 for Adult,
$1 for Children, and
$5 for Families.
Tour Bookings To book a guided tour, please call
the Museum at 604.826.1011, or e-mail us at
muse@mission.museum.bc.ca.
As a volunteer based organization, we appreciate receiving tour requests
one month prior to the desired tour date. We request a donation of $2.00
per tour participant in cash or cheque, payable to the Mission Museum).
For School programs, we suggest one adult helper for every ten children.
If you must cancel or reschedule your tour, please notify us as soon as
possible. We look forward to sharing Mission's history with you!
Getting Here The Museum is located in downtown Mission,
at 33201 Second Avenue, just above Welton Street.
Our Volunteers Working with the Curator, a team of
dedicated Volunteers keep the Museum staffed. Each year, hundreds
of hours are logged on
behind-the-scenes research and projects as well as helping the
public learn more about the history of our community. A big
thank you to our Volunteers!

Appraisals are $5 per item or $10 for up to three items (Mission District
Historical Society members receive one free appraisal with their $25/year
membership fee. Pre-registration by email or phone is required.

Looking for the Perfect Gift?
The Mission Museum Gift Shop offers an array of books on Mission's
history, nostalgic CD's and cards depicting local scenes. We also carry
old fashioned candy sticks in a variety of flavours. These are
perfect gifts for family members, longtime residents of Mission and out
of town visitors.
Volunteering at the Mission Museum
The Museum is looking for volunteers who would be available to lead
tours for school and special groups, as well as converse with visitors
about Mission's history and peoples. If you are confident interacting
with the public, creative and love to learn about Mission please
contact the curator and ask about this volunteer opportunity.
